the baby zabu™, created by designer and founder yuki mese, is a modern twist to the japanese floor cushion called "zabuton". its uncomplicated practicality (an influence of yuki's zen/japanese heritage) and convenient design are a perfect companion for any stylish baby on the go. the baby zabu™ cushion fits perfectly into any standard portable playpen to create an integrated bumper and mattress pad system. each baby zabu™ is proudly crafted in the u.s.a. and with safety always in mind to please the most discriminating moms and their wagamama (means 'spoiled rotten' in japanese) babies!

we all want what’s best for our babies. that’s why at wagamama baby, we continually strive to create unique and innovative products to make life a tad more comfy for our little ones and a tad more simplified for their mommies. we also work to do all of this in the most socially and environmentally responsible way that we can.
we make sure that our products are always produced with safety, style, and practicality in mind. we have them crafted locally in a sweatshop-free environment where workers are always paid a good and fair wage. we consciously choose suppliers who are as gentle to the earth as possible without compromising our stylishness. we constantly look for opportunities to improve our products and evolve our company.
it’s hard work but it’s worth it. because after all, what’s more stylish than making babies and mommies happier and along the way being kind to our earth?
